We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, offering personalized consultations, and ensuring that clients leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to a positive salon environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on styles and products.
Upsell salon services and products to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon areas in accordance with health regulations.
Utilize salon software, such as MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as needed.
Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their professional growth.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, barbering, and treatments.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs.
Experience with salon software systems; familiarity with MINDBODY is a plus.
Ability to upsell services and products while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Knowledge of sanitation practices in the salon industry.
A passion for beauty trends and continuous learning in the field of hairstyling.

Pay: $26.78 – $31.64 per hour
