Lucky Spot Barbershop is growing and expanding! Our Greensboro location is looking for a new Hairstylist and/or Natural Hairstylist to join our team!!
You must have a current license to style natural hair and have completed a natural hair and/or cosmetology training program. While we are a barbershop and focus on men’s hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers.
Stylist Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments.
Prep clients for their service and ask what type of styling they want.
Style clients’ hair to their specifications.
Engage in friendly conversation with clients.
Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition.
Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients.
Stylist Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Natural Hairstylist, Cosmetologist or Barber license with “behind the chair” experience.
Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Organizational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail.
What We Offer!
Great comission structure- potential base pay starting off is $40,000 per year.
Paid travel opportunities
Quarterly bonus
Flexible schedule- Open 7 days a week- must work at least 5 days.
