Dulcinea, the owner, founded Humble Bee 10 years ago and realized quickly that she couldn’t do it all. Tasks such as advertising, client communication, scheduling, confirming, and being a person who wants to give the best customer service ended up taking much more time than she had anticipated. Boundaries ended up being crossed, and her family life took a toll as she was always answering client calls and messages, and tending to business matters that would come up while at home. She quickly realized that she couldn’t be the only one who felt this way and also felt a little lonely being just on her own.
So her mission became to create a company that would give an esthetician the best of both worlds. We are located in a salon suite and we provide all the products, a client communications team 7 days a week from 7am to 9pm, and managers who work remotely and are always on duty to help with any situation that might come up. We also cover the cost of training and advertising. All you, as an esthetician, need to do is show up, hang out with your friends (clients) while providing services, and make the room like it’s your own for your shift, while keeping it nice and clean for the next Worker Bee that comes in after you!

Job description Humble Bee Sugaring Studio is looking for a Hair Removal specialist to join our Hive! Our specialists are the heart of the client experience and the first interaction our clients have as they walk through the door. The role of our Hair Removal specialist involves leadership, dependability, and the desire to learn. New hires will receive training in multiple areas such as; sugaring hair removal and client management (checking clients in/out, scheduling, messaging, etc.). Responsibilities Performing Sugaring hair removal services Using company systems such as Vagaro to book and check out clients Maintaining cleanliness of the room Taking proper inventory of supplies Restocking Communicating with clients via text/phone call Educating clients on pre/post-care Able to thrive in a fast pace environment with strong multi tasking abilities Requirements Must be licensed in California (cosmetology or esthetician license).
