Position Overview:

As our Front Desk Operator, you will be the heart of our salon, ensuring seamless operations and providing a warm and welcoming environment for every client. Your role is critical in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and creating a lasting positive impression.

Responsibilities:

Client Relations & Hospitality:
Greet and welcome clients with a warm, genuine smile and professional demeanor.
Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating client needs and addressing inquiries with grace and efficiency.
Manage client appointments, scheduling, and confirmations using our salon software.
Handle client complaints and concerns with diplomacy and professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution.
Maintain a pristine and organized reception area, reflecting the salon’s luxurious aesthetic.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls, providing accurate information and scheduling appointments.
Process payments, manage cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
Manage the salon’s appointment book and ensure efficient scheduling to maximize stylist productivity.
Maintain accurate client records and update contact information.
Assist with inventory management and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Assist with salon marketing and promotional activities as needed.
Stylist Support:
Communicate client arrival and appointment details to stylists promptly.
Assist stylists with client inquiries and requests.
Maintain a smooth flow of clients between the reception area and stylist stations.

Required Skills and Talents:

Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a high-end environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency with salon software and point-of-sale systems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient computer skills, including Apple and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to learn and use salon specific software quickly.
