We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Assist stylists with various hair services, including hair styling, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
Manage front desk duties, including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries.
Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment management and client records.
Support upselling of products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Participate in mentoring opportunities to develop skills in barbering and straight razor techniques.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
Qualifications
Previous experience or training in hair styling, barbering, or related fields is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with hair extensions and eyelash extensions is a plus.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new techniques and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.
Experience with MINDBODY or similar salon management software is an advantage.
