As a Salon Assistant, you will support our stylists and enhance the overall salon experience for our clients. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced salon environment while developing their skills in hair styling, cosmetology, and retail sales.
Duties
Assist stylists with various hair services, including washing, drying, and styling hair.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including workstations and common areas.
Help with retail sales by promoting products and assisting clients with their purchases.
Manage inventory levels and assist with store management tasks as needed.
Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
Engage with clients to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any inquiries they may have.
Qualifications
Previous experience or training in hair styling or cosmetology is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of retail math and sales strategies is advantageous.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for the beauty industry are essential traits for success in this role.
Assist with front desk responsibilities.
Ability to keep up with our fast pace salon
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
