We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional grooming services while creating a welcoming and friendly environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a flair for creativity, ensuring that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied with their look.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair cutting, styling, and grooming services using both traditional and modern techniques.
Utilize straight razors for precise haircuts and shaves, ensuring the highest level of safety and sanitation.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and the salon environment in accordance with health regulations.
Stay updated on current trends in hairstyles, products, and techniques to provide clients with informed recommendations.
Qualifications
Valid barber or cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in barbering techniques including cutting, styling, and shaving with straight razors.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with barber software for appointment scheduling and record management is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and preferences.
