We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in hair styling while also engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Duties
Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to each client’s individual style.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized according to health and safety standards.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, techniques, and products to offer informed recommendations.
Assist in mentoring junior stylists or trainees, sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.
Utilize MINDBODY or similar software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products that complement services provided.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store management operations.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including but not limited to cutting, coloring, and eyelash extensions.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients effectively.
Experience in nail care is a plus but not required.
A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and grow within your role.

Pay: $22.55 – $35.00 per hour
