Responsibilities:
Manage daily salon operations and ensure smooth functioning
Follow company policies, procedures and branded concept
Achieve monthly sales goals, retail sales and memberships & client satisfaction goals
Cash handling, bank deposits and reporting the corporate office
Manage timekeeping and payroll reporting, employee schedules & labor forecasting based on business needs
Monitor inventory levels and submit orders as needed following budget, minimize shrink, report retails sales reports
Use technology, salon software, for all client record keeping including but not limited to, appointment notes, photos and service formulas
Implement company marketing strategies, to attract new clients and retain existing ones
Communicate & participate in local events and business to business marketing
Actively perform in all salon roles, including front desk, hair services, check out and maintenance
Resolve employee and client issues ensuring the company is protected against liability while maintaining a positive & safe workplace
Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to salon staff daily following company guidelines
Follow training guidelines for new employees and refresh training sessions for current employees
Ensure high-quality service delivery to clients and maintain customer satisfaction
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional & timely manner
Conduct regular bi-monthly staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and company updates
Build relationships with salon clientele, ensuring clients have a quality experience, this may include follow up phone calls/emails to salon clients
Manage and maintain salon equipment, color dispensing machine, software & technology
Responsible for company assets accounted for and maintained including but not limited to the salon inventory & tools, laptops, tablets
Develop and maintain relationships with local beauty schools and salon owners
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling, color theory, gray coverage, hair cutting, hair extensions, chemical services
Qualifications:
Active FL State cosmetology license
2+ years of salon & retail experience
Proven experience of 2+ years operational management or similar role
Strong skills in technology, software with solid understanding of reports & performance metrics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and salon staff
Ability to mentor and motivate team members to achieve performance goals
Knowledge of sanitation guidelines and ability to enforce them in the salon
Inventory management and staff scheduling experience
Excellent problem solver and proactive mentality, detail oriented

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
