Hair Salon Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist Jobs in Texarkana at SmartStyle Hair Salon
Duties:
– Perform a variety of cosmetology/barber services including haircuts and fades.
– Assist with front desk duties including phone calls, and greeting clients
– Educate clients on retail products and provide recommendations based on their needs
– Utilize retail math skills to calculate sales, discounts, and commissions
– Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience
– Mentor and train junior cosmetologists/barbers
Skills:
– Valid cosmetology license
– Strong knowledge of various cosmetology/barber techniques and trends
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Proficient in techniques in a timely manner
– Experience in eyebrow shaping/waaxing
– Knowledge of application methods and safety protocols
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
