We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and cosmetology, with the ability to create stunning looks that enhance our clients’ beauty. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while fostering a welcoming environment for clients.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Utilize advanced techniques such as hair extensions, hair threading, and eyelash extensions.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
Promote retail products effectively, utilizing retail math skills to manage inventory and sales.
Utilize MINDBODY software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
Ability to mentor others and share knowledge within the team.
Familiarity with retail sales strategies and basic retail math concepts.
Knowledge of sanitation practices in a salon environment.
Experience with hair extensions, hair threading, and eyelash extensions is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using MINDBODY or similar salon management software is a plus.
