Your expertise in various hair treatments and ability to upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling while adhering to the latest trends and techniques.
Sanitize tools and maintain cleanliness in the work area to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Perform specialized services such as hair threading, straight razor cuts, and hair extensions as requested by clients.
Offer nail care services when required, enhancing the overall client experience.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations based on color theory and hair type.
Upsell salon products and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales.
Assist in store management tasks as needed, including inventory management and maintaining an organized workspace.
Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and ensuring their comfort during appointments.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role within a salon environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of hair care techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling.
Familiarity with upselling techniques and retail sales strategies is advantageous.
Experience in nail care services is a plus but not mandatory.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
A valid cosmetology license is required.
