Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various hair services and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating stylish looks that enhance our clients’ beauty while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Apply hair extensions and perform hair threading techniques as requested by clients.(Not a must) Added bonus.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell products and services based on client needs, utilizing retail math skills to inform recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments to provide informed advice to clients.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
Must Provide proof of business insurance
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean working environment.
Knowledge of retail math for effective upselling of products and services is preferred.
A passion for the beauty industry with a desire to stay current on trends and techniques.
Excellent customer service skills with an ability to build rapport with clients.
