Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair services to clients while creating a welcoming and enjoyable salon experience. You will be responsible for staying updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling, ensuring that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied with their look.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members on techniques and salon protocols.
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and maintaining accurate records using salon software.
Provide consultations to clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Stay informed about industry trends and continuously improve skills through ongoing education.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use.
Assist with the application of hair extensions as needed, ensuring proper techniques are followed for client safety.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met and build lasting relationships.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for clients.
Knowledge of hair styling techniques, including straight razor cutting methods.
Familiarity with salon management practices and front desk operations is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience with salon software is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to mentor others and share expertise within the team is highly valued.

Pay: $24.91 – $29.95 per hour
