We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. Your role will not only involve hair cutting and coloring but also mentoring junior stylists and contributing to a positive salon environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and color theory.
Offer consultations to clients regarding their hair care needs and desired styles.
Mentor junior stylists, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance their skills.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Promote retail products effectively, utilizing retail math skills to assist clients in making informed purchases.
Perform makeup application services as needed, enhancing the overall client experience.
Offer specialized services such as eyelash extensions and hair extensions when applicable.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon environment is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Familiarity with color theory and various hair care products is essential.
Experience in retail sales is a plus, enabling you to effectively promote products to clients.
Previous mentoring experience is beneficial for guiding less experienced stylists.
Knowledge of makeup application techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $23.85 – $26.43 per hour
