Responsibilities
– Perform a variety of beauty treatments including chemical, natural, cuts, styling, coloring, etc.
– Conduct product demonstrations and recommend products that suit clients’ needs.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
– Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
– Build rapport with clients to understand their preferences and ensure repeat business.
– Stay updated on the latest trends in cosmetology and continuously enhance your skills through professional development.
– Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Qualifications
– Valid cosmetology license or skill full in natural hair accordance with state regulations.
– Experience but not required in a med spa environment is preferred but not required.
– Strong sales skills with the ability to promote services and products effectively.
– Proficiency in body waxing techniques and makeup application if applicable.
– Braids, locs, extensions techniques is greatly valuable.
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
– A background in hospitality is advantageous, enhancing the overall client experience.
– Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed but not required.
