We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, offering expert advice on hair care, and ensuring that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. Your creativity and skill will play a vital role in enhancing our clients’ appearance and overall experience.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to clients.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair fashion and techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Up sell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists or interns, sharing knowledge on techniques and best practices.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of color theory, hair extensions is preferred.
Experience in store management or retail math is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations.
Previous experience in a salon setting is highly desirable.
