– Provide professional hair care services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Consult with clients to understand their preferences and offer expert advice
– Keep workstations clean and sanitize tools and equipment regularly
– Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
– Upsell salon products and services to clients
– Maintain client records and appointment schedules
– Handle customer inquiries and concerns with excellent customer service
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
– Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, balayage/ombre, foil highlighting, perming, and extension
– Previous experience in front desk operations, organization skills, or retail math is a plus
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Certification from a reputable cosmetology school
– A passion for staying current with industry trends and techniques
