We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and customer service, with the ability to create stunning looks that enhance our clients’ natural beauty. This role requires creativity, technical skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced salon environment.
Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend appropriate services.
Apply hair extensions and other specialized treatments as requested by clients.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired hair color results.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Use salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement services provided.
Upsell additional services to enhance the client experience while ensuring satisfaction.
Deliver excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs effectively.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and nail care to provide informed recommendations.
Skills
Proficiency in hair styling techniques and knowledge of various hair types.
Experience with hair extensions and advanced coloring techniques is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a busy salon environment.
Experience in retail sales, particularly within the beauty industry, is an asset.
Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment management is a plus.
Knowledge of nail care practices is beneficial but not required.
A positive attitude, creativity, and a passion for the beauty industry are essential for success in this role.
