We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. Responsibilities:
– Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and color theory
– Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable hairstyles or treatments
– Perform haircuts and styling according to client preferences and requests
– Apply color, highlights, and lowlights using various techniques
– Provide hair treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, and scalp massages
– Offer makeup application services for special occasions or events
– Utilize such as straight razor shaves or beard trims (if applicable)
– Stay organized by maintaining a clean and tidy work area
– Assist with store management tasks as needed
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of color theory and the ability to create customized color formulations
– Proficiency in various hair cutting techniques for both men and women
– Experience with barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves or beard trims (if applicable)
– Familiarity with hair threading techniques (if applicable)
– Makeup application skills for special occasions or events
– Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their needs
– Ability to mentor junior stylists or provide guidance to colleagues
– A valid cosmetology license in
