Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to Freelance Derby weekend. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair services to our clients, including cutting, coloring, styling, and more. Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional hair services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and color
– Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles or treatments
– Perform makeup application services for special occasions or events
– Conduct hair threading services for clients
– Demonstrate knowledge of color theory and apply it effectively in color treatments
– Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information
– Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, answering phone calls, and handling payments
– Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
– Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and best practices
– Perform eyelash extensions for interested clients
– Demonstrate proficiency in using a straight razor for precise cuts or detailing
– Assist with store management tasks as needed
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon setting
– In-depth knowledge of various hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
– Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Valid cosmetology license or certification required
