Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for all clients. Your expertise in hair care, styling, and makeup application will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our clientele.
Responsibilities
Perform haircuts, color treatments, styling, and other hair services according to client preferences and trends.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Provide makeup application services as needed, enhancing clients’ overall appearance.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development when necessary.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts as required by client requests.
Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments and handling customer inquiries.
Promote retail sales by upselling products that complement the services provided.
Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all supplies are stocked and readily available.
Experience
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in store management or retail sales is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with various hair care products and techniques, including straight razor usage.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
