We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in hair styling, barbering, and nail care while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Perform barbering services such as shaves and trims using straight razors.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on hair care products and styles.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members in techniques and best practices.
Manage retail sales by utilizing retail math skills to promote products that enhance client satisfaction.
Participate in ongoing education to stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry.
Experience
A valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, or related fields is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Familiarity with retail math for effective product sales management.
Experience in store management or mentoring is a plus.
Knowledge of nail care services is desirable but not mandatory.
