Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair care services while ensuring client satisfaction. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, and additional treatments that enhance the overall customer experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience
Partial to full book preferred
Responsibilities
Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to individual client needs.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hair treatments.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and techniques to offer innovative services.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, hair extensions, barbering, and hair threading as required.
Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up consultations.
Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients’ hair color requests.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Knowledge of various hairstyling techniques.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
A commitment to ongoing education in the beauty industry to stay current with trends and techniques.

Pay: $24.73 – $28.41 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
