Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Professional Cosmetologist, Lotician, Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various braiding techniques and styles, color, hair cuts, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Professional Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ beauty experience while promoting additional services and products.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair coloring techniques ie highlights, root retouch, updos, hair braiding styles, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired styles and preferences.
Upsell additional services such as deep conditioning treatment, hair cuts
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Assist with keeping the salon tidy near and orderly
Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory and assist in store management tasks.
Stay updated on current trends in hair braiding and beauty services to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Experience
Previous experience in hair braiding or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with color theory and straight razor techniques is a plus.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members.
Retail experience, particularly in upselling products and services, is beneficial.

Pay: $38.79 – $45.63 per hour
