Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in providing exceptional hair services to our clients. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong passion for hair styling, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
– Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and color theory
– Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and provide personalized recommendations
– Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience
– Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures ( in select locations)
– Maintain a clean and organized work station
– Sanitize tools and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
– Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions
– Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development
Qualifications:
– Valid cosmetology license
– Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber
– Proficient in various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling
– Strong knowledge of color theory and ability to create customized color formulations
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Experience with retail sales is preferred
– Familiarity with salon management software (e.g., SalonTarget) is a plus
