Job Overview:
I am seeking a talented, passionate, and licensed Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist to help out with an already established clientele. The ideal candidate is a creative professional who is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, stays current on the latest trends, and is eager to grow and learn about my existing situation with the salon.
A current Pennsylvania Cosmetology License is required for this position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, perming, waxing, or other treatments
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles and services
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and salon tools according to state guidelines
Maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service, professionalism and personability
Stay up-to-date on current trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry
Promote salon products and services to clients
Closely communicate with me about scheduling
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Cosmetology License (required)
Proven experience as a stylist or cosmetologist in a salon environment
Strong knowledge of hair care products, techniques, and tools
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
Ability to work flexible hours based on client scheduling and appointment demand
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $7.25 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
