Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative hair stylist to join our team. As a stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including haircuts, color treatments, and styling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
– Provide personalized haircuts, color treatments, and styling services to clients, ensuring high-quality results that meet their expectations.
– Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ hair needs and preferences to provide customized services.
– Keep up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques to ensure a cutting-edge experience for clients.
– Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
– Manage and maintain store inventory, including hair care products and equipment.
– Work collaboratively with other stylists and salon staff to achieve exceptional customer service.
– Conduct specialized services as needed.
– Use color theory to select the perfect colors for clients, ensuring a beautiful and natural finish.
– Utilize Envision to manage appointments and keep clients informed about their schedule.
– Communicate effectively with clients, explaining services and providing recommendations to achieve their desired look.
– Ensure that all services are completed in a sanitary and hygienic manner.
Requirements:
– A current Cosmetology license and a commitment to ongoing education in the beauty industry.
– Experience in hair styling (at least 3 years experience behind the chair)
– Strong knowledge of color theory and the ability to select colors that complement clients’ skin tones and hair types.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients at once.
– Experience with store management and inventory control is an asset.
– Proficiency Envision or similar salon management software.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $2,000.00 – $15,000.00 per month
