Job Overview
We are currently seeking a talented hairstylist to become part of our dynamic, fast paced, and energetic salon team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, delivers high quality color and cutting services, and is comfortable in a fast- moving environment. Experience with formal styling or special occasion hair is a welcomed addition. Our salon operates on a commission based structure and values a team oriented mindset, where collaboration and shared success are key. Duties
Design custom hairstyles tailored to each clients features, lifestyle, and preferences using advanced cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
Consult with clients to understand hair goals and what steps to take to get there
Perform precision color services including, balayage, highlights, root touch ups and color corrections while maintaining hair integrity.
Recommend and explain professional hair products based on each clients concerns ensuring they leave with the tools and knowledge to maintain their hair at home.
Maintain a polished and welcoming environment ensuring cleanliness while creating a memorable experience from start to finish.
Requirements
2-5 years fully working behind the hair as a stylist and valid state cosmetology license.
Strong communication skills with ability to listen, assess clients needs, and make confident personalized hair solutions.
Passion for continued growth
Expertise in a range of techniques including modern cutting styles, color applications and finishing methods.
