Please note, that the pay is based on the amount of revenue brought in by the services you provided as this job is commission pay, not hourly; Indeed did not have an option for commission pay. However, if you are renting a chair, then you will need to agree on a monthly rental fee with the owner and the pay is what you charge for your services.
Responsibilities
Perform hair cutting, coloring, and styling services according to client preferences and trends.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, tools, and equipment.
Utilize salon system for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and product usage.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling techniques.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment management and sales tracking.
Retail sales experience is a plus to enhance product recommendations to clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide tailored services.
Attention to detail and creativity in hairstyling techniques.
