We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, color treatments, and styling services while ensuring an outstanding customer experience in a welcoming salon environment.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
Provide consultations to clients regarding their desired looks and recommend suitable hair care products.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
Promote retail products and services to enhance client satisfaction and drive sales.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and techniques to provide clients with the latest styles.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon atmosphere that encourages teamwork and customer loyalty.
Skills
Proficient in cosmetology practices with a valid cosmetology license.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in store management or retail sales is preferred.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Knowledge of nail care services is a plus.
Ability to perform makeup application for special events or occasions is desirable.
Competence in retail math to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
Excellent sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
