We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair care and styling, along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Hair Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while ensuring a positive experience for each client. Your expertise in color theory, sanitation practices, and upselling techniques will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including braiding, cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with management to understand client preferences and recommend suitable services.
Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair care, including braiding techniques
Demonstrate excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns.
Skills
Proficient in multiple braiding styles and application techniques.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Experience with salon software systems is preferred.
Ability to perform hair extension installation services is a plus.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
A passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences for clients.
