As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, offering expert advice on hair care, and ensuring that clients leave our salon feeling confident and satisfied.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments to meet client needs.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to offer innovative services.
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace, tools, and equipment.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records using salon software.
Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and recommend products for retail sales.
Upsell additional services or products to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge and techniques in hair care and styling.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and extensions.
Experience with nail care is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Strong understanding of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to foster positive client relationships.
Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not required.
