Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair threading.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable hair colors and techniques for clients.
Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a safe and hygienic salon environment.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized service.
Use salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Engage in retail sales by promoting and upselling hair care products that enhance client satisfaction.
Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience for clients.
Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling to deliver high-quality services.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with salon software systems like MINDBODY is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences.
Experience in retail sales is a plus, with the ability to upsell products confidently.
Proficiency in hair threading techniques and straight razor usage is desirable.
A solid understanding of color theory to assist clients in making informed decisions about their hair color.
