Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for hair styling, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients.
Duties
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts and styles.
Offer additional services such as eyelash extensions and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell retail products and services to clients, leveraging knowledge of retail math to maximize sales opportunities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment.
Assist in store management tasks as needed, including inventory management and scheduling appointments.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that each client leaves feeling valued and satisfied.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license required.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Familiarity with straight razor techniques is preferred.
Experience in retail sales and upselling is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Knowledge of eyelash extension application and hair threading techniques is desirable.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
