As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace, and ensuring that clients leave feeling satisfied and confident.
Responsibilities
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s needs.
Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts as requested by clients.
Maintain a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on hair care.
Perform nail care services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience for clients.
Assist in retail sales by utilizing retail math skills to recommend appropriate products for home care.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty techniques through continuous education.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling with proficiency in various techniques including hair threading.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs.
