Salon 241 is hiring an experienced hairstylist looking for part-time hours here in Northampton! Our ideal candidate would have experience with all hair textures and lengths, be a kind and personable team member, be passionate about their career, and be excited to be a part of our community.

Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair styling services, including cuts, color treatments, and styling techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good condition.
Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and provide professional recommendations.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair care, styling techniques, and products to offer clients the best service possible.
Promote retail products that complement salon services, utilizing retail math skills to manage inventory effectively.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon environment that fosters creativity and teamwork.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in various hair techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
A passion for the beauty industry and a desire for continuous learning and professional development.
