We are Kanzi Hair Studio. A beauty salon in Sunnyvale, CA providing excellent hair services using high quality products. We opened our salon in August of 2012 with the goal of satisfying the need of our clients with top-notch service in a professional, caring, and relaxing atmosphere.
Kanzi Hair Studio is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic full/ part time Hair Stylist Assistant to support our salon owner. full/ part time hair stylist assistant who has a passion in beauty and enjoy working in a team environment. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about hair styling and eager to learn and grow in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Hair Styling: Help the salon owner with washing, blowdrying, and all hair services such as coloring. Prepare clients and ensure all supplies are readily available for each appointment.
Client Preparation: Greet clients warmly, drape them for services, and assist with shampooing and conditioning treatments.
Salon Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and stations are sanitized and tidy according to health regulations.
Product Management: Assist with inventory control of styling products and tools, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and stored properly.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to client inquiries, and help with scheduling appointments as needed.
Support Daily Operations: Perform various administrative duties under the direction of the salon owner, such as answering calls, managing the booking system, and handling payments.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology training or enrollment in a cosmetology program is preferred
Interest in pursuing a career in hair styling or salon management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a professional and friendly demeanor
Reliable and Punctual
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
1-5 years proven experience as a hair stylist assistant is a plus
Blowdry and Washing experience is a plus
Proficiency in Korean is a plus
