Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients. Your expertise in hair care, styling will contribute to an outstanding client experience.
Responsibilities
– Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
– Utilize salon software to manage appointments, track inventory, and maintain client records.
– Engage with clients at the front desk, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
– Educate clients on hair care products and techniques to promote retail sales.
– Demonstrate knowledge of retail math to effectively manage inventory and sales reports.
– Foster a positive environment through excellent communication and customer service skills.
Requirements
– Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
– Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
– Experience with makeup application is preferred but not mandatory.
– Familiarity with salon software systems is advantageous.
– Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
– Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon environment.
– Previous experience in retail sales is a plus, with knowledge of retail math being beneficial.
– A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to ongoing professional development.
