We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair care services to our diverse clientele. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ beauty and confidence through your expertise in hairstyling and customer service. This is a commission based opportunity. Duties
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Help to clean and organize salon in compliance with salon standards.
Use salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients and understanding their preferences.
Engage in retail sales of hair care products and tools to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices in hairstyling techniques.
Assist with store management tasks as needed to ensure smooth salon operations.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license required; barbering experience is a plus.
Proficiency in hairstyling techniques including cutting & coloring skills.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management is advantageous.
Retail sales experience is beneficial for promoting products effectively.
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide tailored recommendations.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
