We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling and color theory, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves not only delivering high-quality haircuts and styles but also mentoring junior staff, upselling products, and contributing to a positive salon environment. Responsibilities
Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and coloring services to clients.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, inventory management, and client records.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
Perform eyelash extension services as needed, ensuring client comfort and safety.
Apply knowledge of retail math to manage product inventory effectively.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, and coloring techniques.
Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair services.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience with salon software systems is preferred.
Knowledge of retail sales strategies and experience in upselling products is a plus.
Ability to mentor junior staff members effectively.
