Hair Stylist Jobs in Forked River, NJ at Polished Salon and Beauty Bar
We are looking for an experienced Hair Stylist with a small clientele to join our team. The candidate will have a background in hair styling and cutting and should enjoy working with people of all ages and hair types. You will be responsible for cutting, dying, coloring, shampooing and styling hair.
We can accommodate a part-time or full-time schedule. We offer commission based salary and provide most supplies. We provide a full time assistand and receptionist that would be available.
We offer retail bonuses, end of the year bonus, and contribute to an IRA based on service sales. We offer Redken color and Kevin Murphy retail products.
Responsibilities:
Create new hairstyle ideas.
Be familiar with current hairstyle trends.
Understand and follow safety protocols.
Use appropriate hair-cutting tools or equipment.
Help create a relaxing environment for customers.
Be able to perform all other duties of a hair stylist, including cleaning equipment and the salon, and serving customers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
Day shift
Weekends as needed
