We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set in various hair styling techniques and have a flair for creativity. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional hair care services while ensuring client satisfaction and promoting our retail products. Your ability to connect with clients and recommend services will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Utilize techniques such as hair threading and straight razor cuts to meet client preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance the client experience and boost sales.
Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, color theory, and techniques to provide the best service possible.
Use Spa software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Foster a welcoming environment for clients, ensuring they feel valued and cared for during their visit.
Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling with strong skills in cutting, coloring, and treatments.
Knowledge of retail math to effectively manage product sales and inventory.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Experience in upselling services and products is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Spa or similar scheduling software is a plus.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
