Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and have a flair for creativity, ensuring that every client leaves feeling their best. This role involves providing a range of hair services, including cuts, colors, and styling, while also offering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming salon atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Perform haircuts, color treatments, and styling services tailored to client preferences.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair fashion and techniques.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments (which includes getting the information to the correct stylist) and managing your client records & answering the phone
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment by picking up after yourself and helping with towels.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license is required.
Proficiency in color theory and application techniques.
Experience with hair extensions and makeup application is a bonus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and client management.
Previous experience in store management or retail is a plus but not mandatory.
