Work Environment:
Modern and vibrant salon setting
Duties:
Provide expert hair braiding services, using various braiding techniques and styles.
Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure complete client satisfaction.
Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience.
Support front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client inquiries.
Mentor and train junior braiders on techniques and salon best practices.
Stay current with the latest trends and innovations in hair braiding.
Assist with additional salon services, such as nail care, makeup, hair threading, and eyelash extensions.
Experience:
Previous experience as a hair braider or in a similar role is required.
Proficiency in a wide range of braiding techniques and styles.
Knowledge of retail sales and effective upselling strategies.
Experience with other salon services (nail care, makeup, hair threading, and eyelash extensions) is a plus.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Understanding of retail math for managing cash transactions.
