Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair styling services to our clients. You will be responsible for creating personalized looks that enhance the natural beauty of each client while ensuring a welcoming and professional salon environment.
Duties
Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Utilize techniques such as barbering, straight razor cuts, and hair extensions to achieve desired results.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends in hair styling and beauty products.
Effectively upsell additional services and products to enhance client experience and satisfaction.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the salon area, including tools and equipment.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
Deliver excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs promptly.
Assist with makeup application as needed to provide a complete beauty experience.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Proficiency in various hair techniques including cutting, coloring, and extensions.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience with salon software systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote additional services and products.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
