Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling techniques and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for every customer.
Salon employement is booth rent only. You are in control of your own business and will pay booth rent to the salon owner. Although you are in control of your own business….if you are a new graduate or have little experience with low clientele….in order to build your business you will be required to be in the salon certain hours a week that can be worked out with management. This is to help you pick up new clientele and build your business by accepting walk-ins and answereing calls for hair services throughout the day.
Duties
Perform various hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
Engage with clients to understand their hair care needs and recommend appropriate services.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage your own calendar and book your own appointments and manage those appointments in a very effecient and reliable way. Show up…and stay on schedule.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and color theory to offer innovative solutions to clients.
Assist in store management tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
Experience is great! We also accept new graduates but those will be required to be at the salon for a set number of hours based on experience and clientele.
Knowledge of color theory and application techniques.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
