Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. This role requires creativity, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you would like to rent a chair to expand your business you can rent it for $200/week.
Duties
Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired hair colors and effects.
Perform makeup application and hair threading as requested by clients.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing expertise and providing guidance on techniques.
Utilize retail math skills to assist clients with product recommendations based on their needs.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty techniques.
Experience
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon setting is preferred.
Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including barbering and straight razor skills.
Familiarity with makeup application techniques is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
A valid cosmetology license is required.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous.
