Responsibilities
Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences and current trends.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Sanitate tools and workspaces in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and meet salon goals.
Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to continually improve skills.
Qualifications
Valid Florida cosmetology license is required.
Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and nail care.
Familiarity with retail math for product sales analysis is preferred.
Experience with salon software systems is an asset.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for client interactions.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to ongoing education in hair care trends.
