Location: Caramel Curls Hair Care & Salon – Bronx, NY
Chair for Rent: $100/week – Home Salon Environment
Caramel Curls Hair Care & Salon is looking for talented and passionate Hair Stylists, Braiders, and/or Weavers who specialize in textured and colored women’s hair. We provide a welcoming, professional home salon space in the Bronx for beauty professionals who are ready to grow their business and deliver flawless hairstyles to our amazing clients.
Whether you’re an experienced stylist, colorist, or natural hair specialist, we’d love to meet you.
What We Offer:
-Chair for rent: $100/week
-A supportive environment to build your client base
-Flexible work hours.
Responsibilities:
-Welcome clients and consult to understand their style and preferences
-Recommend and execute haircuts and hairstyles tailored to each client
-Wash, rinse, and condition hair using appropriate products for all hair types
-Perform precision cuts, trims, and shaves
-Apply advanced coloring techniques: highlights, ombre, balayage, etc.
-Style hair for everyday and formal looks (braids, buns, ponytails, weaves)
-Apply and recommend hair care and treatment products
-Build relationships with loyal customers and track their preferences
-Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
-Manage walk-ins and scheduled appointments
-Upsell products and services when appropriate
Requirements:
-Experience as a Hair Stylist, Braider, Colorist, or similar role
-Proficiency in hair straightening, curling, and textured hair styling
-Skilled in protective styling and weaving techniques
-Strong coloring and treatment experience
-Passion for trends and staying updated on industry styles
-Excellent customer service and communication skills
-Ability to stand for extended periods
-Cosmetology license is a plus but not required
